At the end of World War II, Nathan Hill, the son of Syrian Jews who had immigrated to New York, was entrusted by the American military with a mission that would change his life: to protect major Nazi war criminals at the Nuremberg trials. This experience would provide a lifetime of artistic inspiration for Nathan, a virtually unknown “outsider artist” who would work in the art field for the next 70 years.
