Originally planned with CBS for a series commitment in 2020, the series was canceled shortly before the first episode began filming due to COVID. Now, it has been picked up by Netflix for a 10-episode first season based on Mickey Haller’s second book, The Brass Verdict. Personalized California license plates allow a maximum of seven letters/numbers, but all Mickey plates have a minimum of eight.

It’s very bold to have Manuel Garcia-Rulfo as the main character… and that seems hard for a lot of people to accept… but his gentle approach gets the job done and fits perfectly in LA.
I should give it a 7
It feels like all the character development was a gamble… one that I think will pay off in the long run. but I’m giving it a 9 to make up for the people who just get it wrong.
